Your collection is yours. Saving links requires no account and no upload of your library to us.
1. What this policy covers
This policy describes ShouHao for iPhone and its official website. The app is a local bookmark manager, with no account, advertising, analytics SDK, or developer-operated bookmark server. Contact: 13161078765@163.com.
2. Your bookmarks stay on your device
Links, shared text, titles, source labels, notes, timestamps, and preview images are stored in the app’s local storage on your device. We do not upload your bookmark library to a server we operate, and we do not access or sell it. App data may be included in backups made by iOS, depending on your device settings.
3. Link previews and opening content
When the app fetches a title or cover, your device connects to the linked website and any resources it uses through Apple’s link-preview framework. Those services may receive the requested URL, IP address, and standard network information. Opening a bookmark sends you to the original website or app. These third parties follow their own privacy policies and access rules. Preview availability is not guaranteed.
4. Sharing, clipboard, and backups
The share extension reads the link or text you explicitly share to ShouHao. The Paste button reads content you choose to paste; the app does not monitor your clipboard in the background. Backup files contain your saved information, including notes and preview images. If you export to iCloud Drive, another cloud provider, or share a backup, the destination may receive that data. Keep backups safe and choose destinations you trust.
5. Purchases and Apple
Optional lifetime unlock is processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment and Apple Account information under its own privacy policy. ShouHao does not receive your card details, billing address, or Apple Account password. The app verifies Apple-signed purchase information on-device and saves only the local unlocked status in its App Group for the main app and share extension. We do not send purchase records to a developer-operated server.
6. Retention and deletion
Saved items remain until you delete them or remove the app. Deleting a bookmark removes its active record and locally stored cover, when present. Copies in previously exported files or operating-system backups are separate and must be managed at their destinations. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data under iOS rules. We cannot recover a lost local library without your backup.
7. This website and support email
This website has no account, advertising, analytics scripts, or contact form. Its hosting infrastructure processes ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to deliver and secure the website. When you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Email is handled by the relevant email providers. Please avoid sending passwords, verification codes, or sensitive bookmark contents.
8. Children and changes
ShouHao is a general-purpose utility and does not ask for age or build user profiles. Linked services have their own age restrictions. We will update this page if data handling changes; the effective date will be shown here.
9. Questions and your choices
You control the bookmarks on your device and any exported backups. For privacy questions or support, email 13161078765@163.com. We cannot identify or retrieve a bookmark library that has never been sent to us.
