How do I save a link?
In a supported app, open the iOS share sheet and choose ShouHao. If it is not visible, check More. Alternatively, copy a link or its full share text, open ShouHao, tap +, paste, and save.
Which platforms work?
ShouHao recognizes links from YouTube, TikTok, X / Twitter, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and Bilibili. Platform-specific share menus differ; pasting a copied link is the fallback. Other http and https links can also be stored.
Why is a cover or title missing?
Public-page previews depend on the platform, login requirements, content availability, and your network. Your link is saved even if a preview fails. Long-press the item to retry the preview, or edit its title yourself.
How do I edit or delete a bookmark?
Long-press a bookmark for its menu, or swipe left to reveal actions. Choose Edit to change its title or note. Choose Delete, then confirm Delete bookmark. Cancel keeps the item. Deleting a bookmark does not delete the original platform’s content.
How do I back up and restore?
Open More, then Export backup, and save the JSON file somewhere safe. Use Restore backup to import it. Duplicate links are merged and existing notes are preserved. The current maximum file size is 100 MB. Export before uninstalling or changing phones.
Can I use it offline?
You can save a pasted link, browse the library, search, filter, and edit without a connection. Fetching previews and opening the original content require internet access. ShouHao stores links and available previews, not offline video downloads.
Does it cost anything?
The app is free to download and holds up to 10 bookmarks for free. A one-time $1.99 USD base-price purchase permanently unlocks unlimited bookmarks. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, or advertising. Apple displays regional prices in local currency before confirmation. Deleting a bookmark frees a slot; duplicate links do not use extra slots. App Store availability is subject to approval.
How do I restore lifetime unlock?
Use the same Apple Account that purchased the unlock. Open More → Unlock more bookmarks forever → Restore purchases. Apple may ask you to authenticate. Purchase restoration does not restore your bookmark library: export and restore its JSON backup separately. A refund or revoked purchase removes the unlimited entitlement but keeps existing bookmarks readable, editable, exportable and deletable. Backup import also respects the free 10-item limit; an import that exceeds the limit leaves your current library unchanged.
